For this course we were paired up in groups based on the demographic we wanted to research. My group was tasked with research for ASU out-of-state online students. We constructed a research plan to determine the levels of food insecurity among ASU out-of-state online students.

 

After we constructed the research plan, we designed a survey that was sent out to various Facebook groups as well as to students we knew personally. Some of us also conducted in person interviews. Based on the results of the survey, we were able to narrow down our target demographic and their level of food insecurity, analyze the resources that already existed, and offer suggestions for how to redesign and/or improve the existing resources.
